Engility is seeking a Scheduler to be responsible for schedule management through the entire project life cycle. You will work effectively both independently and in a team based environment to develop schedules that include a listing of a project’s milestones, activities, and deliverables.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to include:
  • Interact with various project teams to maintain detailed schedule information and identification of variances from original plan
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas
  • Assist program / project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on program / project progress
  • Participate with other stake-holder team members to maintain efficient and effective change management processes, procedures and systems
  • Participate with other stake-holder team members to disseminate project management processes and tools throughout the Systems Engineering Support Program
  • Attend meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
  • Report status of schedule management as and when required
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by program / project
  • Identify and understand as how to meet customer scheduling expectations
  • Maintain a database of giver/receiver dependencies
  • Brief senior level management, program managers and teammates

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to successfully obtain a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in MS Project including critical path analysis
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to think-on-your-feet, adapt as situations change and make the best possible decisions with the information at-hand
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
