Engility Corporation is seeking an Inventory/Material Control Clerk. The ideal candidate will perform various administrative and warehouse operational tasks pertaining to the Hollywood Engineering and Fabrication facility to effectively and economically meet customer requirements.



Candidate must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, loading and unloading commercial trucks, receiving, verifying, and inspecting incoming material, stock inventory, and filling out supporting documentation.  

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate should have at least three to five (3-5) years of experience in Inventory/Material Control processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001-2015/AS9100D Quality Management Systems
  • Familiarization with logistics records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Experience in verifying material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Knowledge in preparing inventory records and reports, and familiar with exploring discrepancies in stock counts.
  • Loading and unloading courier trucks
  • Ability to earn a forklift certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Inventory database experience preferred
  • Ability to pass D.O.T. physical to drive company vehicles
  • Willing and able to accept direction. Creative thinking, open-minded. Positive attitude and the ability to change direction with little notice.
  • Excellent customer service skills with Engility team members and government/military customers
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. The position is in the warehouse and requires some heavy lifting. Other duties as necessary (cleaning/sweeping warehouse, maintenance, special projects).
  • Will perform verification of raw material received; verification will be performed by inspecting the material using visual inspection, calipers and tape measures for size verification and all documents match what was received.
