Description

In support of the Department of Justice’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program, Engility provides administrative, logistical, professional, and technical personnel as well as supplies, equipment, facilities, and other materials required for international criminal justice development and reform.  The program draws on the best subject matter experts available to carry out its mission. The team of DOJ ICITAP and Engility possesses decades of experience in federal, state, and local law enforcement, both in the United States and internationally. Many are active law enforcement agents with the U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Treasury. 

 

Engility is seeking a Sr. Administrative and Logistics Support Specialist to support the Department Of Justice International Criminal Investigative and Training Program (ICITAP) in Mexico City, Mexico.  The Senior Administrative and Logistics Support Specialist  will be Engility’s first point of contact on all Engility matters in country.  He/she will be the Program Manager’s primary point of contact for contract execution and coordination. The Senior Administrative and Logistics Support Specialist monitors and tracks the movement of all program personnel and subcontractors traveling to, working in, and departing the country – ability to maintain 100% accountability at all times. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Senior Administrative and Logistics Support Specialist is:
  • The first point of contact for Engility advisors in country
  • Responsible for ensuring that Engility policies, procedures and changes are communicated to the field workforce in a timely manner
  • Responsible for working with support PMO to act on directives from DOJ/ICITAP and seeing them through completion
  • Make hotel reservations for arriving advisors, and other labor categories personnel (delegates, invitational travelers, etc.)
  • Book airline reservations, and when necessary make modifications to itineraries when approved by management
  • Procure equipment and supplies for the office and training, maintain inventory and establish relationships and bring the best value with local vendors
  • Set up and manage local bank accounts for programmatic needs, this includes financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Responsible for working with the CONUS PMO on expatriate mobilization and demobilizations
  • Responsible for working with the PMO management team to understand expatriate employment agreements and policies governing the mission

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ issued Public Trust which requires US Citizenship per the government customer’s contract requirements
  • Must be fluent in the Spanish language (Speaking/Writing).
  • 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in a related field (business operations, contracting, human resources, procurement, budget)
  • Master’s degree level or equivalent experience in lieu of degree, preferably with strong financial qualifications or training
  • Must have a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning procurement matters is essential as this role involves agreeing annual budgets as well as producing financial reports delivered to HQ’s.
  • Requires a strong understanding of how a business operates and have a proven track record demonstrating their understanding and business acumen.
  • General management experience is essential for working in this job.
  • Demonstrated track record of excellent networking skills.
  • Proven experience delivering the highest standards of customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have demonstrated skills to have knowledge and experience of the sector their company operates within. They must fully understand the products and services provided by their company.
  • This role is based overseas, so experience of living abroad is desirable.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural differences, and ability to make sound decisions backed by factual data.
  • Must be proficient with computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel, PPT etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance preferred
