Description

Engility is hiring an IdAM Systems Engineer for a key role on our program in Chantilly, VA.

 

In this role, you will provide Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), physical and logical, credential issuance and troubleshooting services for the customer’s Identity and Access Management Program Office across multiple domains supporting users In Washington DC area, CONUS, and OCONUS locations. As our IdAM Systems Engineer, you will interface directly with DoD PKI to maintain and update as appropriate NIPRNet and SIPRNet local Registration Authorities (RAs) to comply with DoD audit and compliance requirements, and liaison between the customer, users and DoD for troubleshooting issues with smartcards, alt tokens and software certificate services. You will train other team members as necessary. You will also operate the Card Management System and procure necessary card stock.

 

Other duties include:

  • Create appropriate compliance documentation/processes for cards and software certificate requests per DoD requirements on NIPR and SIPR in accordance with customer and contract management.
  • Maintain the hardware necessary to conduct PKI functions as required and not covered by the customer’s Tier 2 service desk.
  • Execute administrative responsibility for configuration management of the customer’s NIPR and SIPR Registration Authorities to support certificate issuance, management, and revocation – including documentation, inspections, remediation, reporting, and compliance to Service Levels Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide user support for digital signature and email encipherment utilizing X.509 certificates.
  • Track and maintain status of customer requirements and provide updates to the IAMB PMO.
  • Capture and document performance metrics to include performance of trend analysis, and collection and reporting of user support metrics.
  • Maintain awareness of the latest DoD PKI policy and guidance, and will provide recommendations to customer and contract management on appropriate paths to maintain compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to successfully obtain a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent work experience in PKI, security, or computer related field required.
  • Must have a working knowledge and experience in most, but not limited to: DoD Information Sharing and Information Assurance objectives; PKI; Microsoft Crypto Application Programming Interface (CAPI); Microsoft Outlook configuration, digital encryption and signature; certificate revocation lists; online certificate status protocol; and smart card readers, scanners, and biometric devices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and workflows and be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and have the ability to multi-task and be comfortable in a high tempo office.
  • Be familiar with and maintain a DoD PKI Registration Authority for both NIPRNet and SIPRNet tokens on two separate domains, supporting the service in operations.
