Engility is seeking a part time Systems Analyst who will support collecting, analyzing, vetting, and validation of future GEOINT needs via the Future Needs Working Group. You will be asked to gather and coordinate target types, Essential Elements of Information (EEI), and future GEOINT collection strategies with GEOINT analysts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the development of future GEOINT collection strategies via the FNWG. Assesses driving mission needs and then is able to work with analysts to then develop future GEOINT collection strategies.  Participates in NGA and NSG assessments and analytic efforts, as an analyst and/or subject matter expert, at the direction of government leadership. Participates in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) regarding GEOINT capabilities, and other activities. Performs quick-turn tasker responses, related to GEOINT capabilities.  Reviews requirement or capability documents on specific phenomenology in support of future GEOINT system development.
  • Maintains a rapport and positive business relationships with appropriate organizational entities, within NGA, the NSG, and the ASG. Supports Government Personnel and participates in pertinent Community studies’ planning working groups, meetings, and other fora.
  • As needed, provides supplemental support towards the gathering of targets, EEIs, and collection strategies. Researches trends and historical practices regarding GEOINT collection strategies.  Gathers background information associated with OPLANs, missions, and target types.
  • Assists in developing NGA and NSG studies’ Terms of References (TORs), Study Plans, Interim Reports, and Final Reports. Maintains an awareness of assigned tasks/projects and understanding the technical interdependencies

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI Polygraph.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience performing Operations Research, or similar technical analysis.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience supporting DoD and Intelligence Community studies.
  • Demonstrated specialized Imagery analysis or Foundation GEOINT experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated familiarity with NGA’s Acquisition and Configuration Management processes.
  • Demonstrated specialized Government agency or military staff experience.
  • Demonstrated Operations research experience specifically applied within the DoD or Intelligence community.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the functional management of GEOINT.  
  • Demonstrated understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the IC
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GEOINT phenomenology including radar, optical, and full spectrum and other planned and potential capabilities.
