The ideal Logistics Specialist will:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of a fielding event
  • Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and ensuring all units scheduled for a fielding event are present and correctly reflected on the Unit Set Master Fielding Schedule
  • Ensure all items required for fielding event are requisitioned
  • Monitor due outs until all requirements filled
  • Coordinate with installation POCs before and during fielding events to ensure installation provided support (buildings, MHE, CIF personnel,  unit detail personnel, etc.) are provided. Provides NET) in  accordance with approved Program of Instruction, Lesson Plan, or other applicable documents
  • Obtain and maintain proficiency and certification as directed by the PM or  proponent on products requiring NET
  • Coordinate, support and/or execute PMs and PdMs systems’ fieldings and Total Package Fieldings (TPFs) in accordance with (IAW) the latest versions of AR 700-142 and DA PAM 700-142

Required Qualifications

The ideal Logistics Specialist will meet/possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum education requirement of High School/GED with 14 years of experience or Associates Degree with 12 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience 
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating, supporting and/or executing PMs and PdMs systems’ fieldings and Total Package Fieldings (TPFs) in accordance with (IAW) the latest versions of AR 700-142 and DA PAM 700-142
  • 2+ years of experience ensuring that materiel is logistically supportable in its fielded configuration and user’s environment as outlined in the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP) and Materiel Fielding Plans (MFPs), when applicable
  • 2+ years of experience  providing NET in accordance with approved Program of Instruction, Lesson Plan, or other applicable documents
  • Obtain and maintain proficiency and certification as directed by the PM or proponent on products requiring NET
  • 2+ years of experience assisting Product Managers in the development of detailed NET plans, including tracking all required NET resources, and coordinating NET schedules and events with the customer unit
  • Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • PEO Soldier acquisition logistics experience STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Will consider candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-Directly Related Field with 10+ years of experience or Masters in non-Directly Related Field with 5+ years or Masters in Directly Related Field with 0+ years of experience
