Engility is hiring a Senior-level IP / Network Engineer who will be responsible for managing domain name and IP address space for multiple, complex customer networks on our program in Chantilly, VA.  As our Senior Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Responsible for managing a small team (5 or less) of engineers dedicated to working IP addressing issues and solutions on complex networks.
  • Reports to a Govt Manager who requires weekly status of on-going projects, and significant project management and coordination skills.
  • Responsible for maintaining multiple schedules in the customer’s instantiation of Microsoft’s Project Server application.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, integrates, tests, deploys and supports network and enterprise solutions.
  • Provides troubleshooting expertise to support resolution of network issues
  • Work location is Chantilly, VA; some limited local travel in the Washington DC metro area may be required (less than 5% of time)

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with ability to successfully obtain SCI access and a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, with Master’s degree preferred
  • Practical, hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP Addressing is critical; DNS and IP Addressing are the two most important experience areas.
  • Experience working in dynamic, multi-contractor environment for Govt Customers
  • Experience managing projects using Microsoft Project, and in managing multi-discipline teams
  • Prior experience managing an engineering team
  • Strong communications and coordination skills

Desired Qualifications

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, changing environments
  • Significant background in systems engineering processes
