Description

Opportunity to lead the large (>$50M annual) contract supporting the Engility Air Traffic management Sub Division.  Responsible for all contract Program Management activities, including overall assignment of work, management of personnel, technical delivery, financial performance (e.g. revenue, DL, DSO, EBIT), small business utilization, risk management, quality control, and contract management reporting.  Directly oversees senior Task Order Leads/Managers.  Ensures responsiveness to the client.

 

The PM interfaces with Government executives, management, technical and administrative staff; sub-contractor managers and staff; and leadership and employees at all levels within Engility.  The PM works closely with customer(s) and the contract team to ensure open and regular communication, both written and oral.  He/she develops, implements and manages project schedules and budgets to meet all contractual requirements.  The PM leads and mentors direct report(s) to grow the leadership team on the project and within the sub division, and works across the enterprise to identify new capabilities to present to customer(s) to grow business and leverages existing customer relationships to identify new customers that need current and new capabilities. This collaboration and leadership involves multiple contracts and PMs.

 

The ability to communicate with this wide range of staff via a wide range of communication medium is essential.  Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, interpersonal interaction, and business skills are essential.

 

The PM identifies and wins organic/on contract opportunities to grow the business, supports proposal writing across the contract, and serves as capture manager on organic on contract growth efforts.  The PM leads the determination of best value solutioning for competitive Task Orders and leads

  

The position is located in Washington DC with occasional travel to Cambridge MA. 

Required Qualifications

PMP preferred, all candidates must meet PMI eligibility requirements for certification. At least 15 years of demonstrated experience related to program/project management is required.

 

BA/BS degree required, MA/BS preferred.  Preference for engineering degree, but not required.

 

Must be able to receive and maintain a position of public trust.

 

Position is located at Engility offices in Washington DC. Candidate must be willing to be in DC a minimum of 4 days per week (excluding travel)

 

Candidate must have excellent client relationship skills.

Desired Qualifications

Recent experience supporting the FAA and Department of Transportation, and/or experience in the development and management of Intra-agency Agreement (IAA) activities involving specific statutory authority for interagency transactions between federal agencies, independent of the Economy Act is highly desired. Experience with Volpe contracts is desired. 

 

Knowledge of FAA and FAA acquisition system (AMS) desired.
