Engility is looking for a Project Engineer/System Engineer to work in our Tampa, Florida location. This is a great opportunity to use your professional skills within the framework of developing the next generation encryption devices.

  • Performs supervision of system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessments, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses of total systems throughout the system life-cycle.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Assists with schedules, budgets and reviews of product development.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Assists with Quality Assurance and Configuration Management duties on source code and CDRL documents.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a Computer Science/Electrical Electronic Engineering or related field and 10-15 yrs of related experience.
  • Has knowledge of and understands full scale development of cryptologic devices and the development sequence.
  • Understands NSA type 1 (Suite A and Suite B) accreditation process.
  • Experience with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) firmware and Advanced Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) Machines (ARM) processor design and implementation, particularly on the Xilinx Zynq 7000 family using Very High Speed Integrated Circuit (VHSIC) Hardware Description Language (VHDL).
  • Current Secret Clearance required

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related area.
