Description

Senior Police Advisor for Patrol Police Basic Training Academy Administration will be responsible for mentoring the new patrol academy management. The advisor will work directly with the academy management overseeing the resolution of the range of logistical and curriculum issues connected to opening their first police-managed academy.  The advisor will be co-located with the academy management and mentor them over several stages of planning and executing a new patrol academy. 

 

Educational and senior management requirements may be substituted by additional years of law enforcement experience or overseas development experience.

Required Qualifications

The LEA 14 role requires 25 years of law enforcement experience w/ 5 years or more overseeing the administration division of a law enforcement agency and at least one year in police academy management and at least one year overseeing a police training standards commission.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree.

Desired Qualifications

Overseas experience is a plus. Language skills are a plus
