Engility is looking for a Network Voice Engineer to join an exciting program in Northern Virginia. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a willingness to learn. The position will be responsible for upgrading and supporting Cisco Voice products (such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Tandberg Management System experience) in support of a restricted program in the Northern Virginia area. The candidate will be joining a small team of dedicated network engineers. Candidates must be self-starters and be able to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. Duties include designing, implementing and maintaining national security systems as well as serving as a trusted advisor for the customer.

Required Qualifications

  • An active Top Secret clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI)
  • The ability to complete a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP) post hire
  • The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification
  • The CompTIA Security+ CE or other certification that would enable the candidate to qualify as an Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT Level II) in accordance with DoD 8570.01M;
  • 10-15 total years of experience in IT
  • At least 3 years of experience in Network Engineering

Desired Qualifications

  • Having completed a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP) within the last five (5) years;
  • 3+ years of demonstrated knowledge of network topologies, routers and switches, network protocols, firewalls, networking security solutions, network/systems monitoring tools, network modeling and simulation;
  • Strong experience in routing and switching as well as voice and video environments;
  • Understanding of Nexus series switches and NX-OS;
  • Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco TMS, Cisco ACS, and the Solarwinds Management Tool;
  • Familiarity with Cisco images, hardware installation, and upgrades. Cisco switch, router, and firewall configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and managing network diagrams;
  • The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Collaboration certification; and
  • The CCNA-Security certification.
