Engility is seeking a Counterintelligence Strategic Counsel.  Duties will include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensures CI collaboration and communication between the NGA Office of Counterintelligence and NGA Key Component leadership.
  • Delivers executive-level CI guidance to NGA Key Component leadership.
  • Leads CI education, awareness and training to NGA Key Component audiences. 
  • Embedded within a major NGA Directorate, requiring close collaboration and CI support with the respective directorate’s leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI polygraph as required.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, CI, technical certifications or training or work experience. 
  • Requires at least 15 years or greater of CI experience. 
  • Strong research, critical thinking and analytic skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong listening and recognition skills.
  • Understanding of mission urgency.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, production, leadership and follower-ship skills. 
  • Credentialed graduates of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy.
  • Possess foundational defensive CI experience to include conducting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training and awareness.
  • Strong MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills

Desired Qualifications

  • 5 years of executive-level CI leadership experience involving budgets, policy, manpower and program management. 
  • Post-graduate degree in National Intelligence, business, law, policy or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
