Description

Engility is seeking an experienced Retail and Wholesale Supply Support Logistics Analyst. Qualified applicant will become part of our Huntsville, AL based Lifecycle Logistics Management Program supporting PEO Aviation and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Fleet Management Logistics Division in supply chain management, integrated logistics operations, and performance based business practices: adherence to lean / best practices and concepts.

These business concepts will be applied to management practices in all aspects of Program Management and weapon system sustainment, e.g., Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, training, field and depot maintenance, and software integration.

 

Roles and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:


a. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to all Product Office logistics Leads for Army Aviation related retail and wholesale supply support, maintenance procedures, practices and matters, including demonstrating knowledge of DoD, DA, AMC, and AMCOM policies and guidance. 
b. Establish, manage, and execute sustainment logistics Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that includes PM, prime contractor, AMCOM, AMC, HQDA, Depot representative, and other participants as necessary. Maintain a Point of Contact (POC) list of participants. 
c. Develop a retail and wholesale supply support sustainment logistics strategy/roadmap for the UAS Project Office and assigned product offices. Establishes and recommends changes to program policies and procedures as necessary which may affect subordinate product office operations. 
d. Manage, schedule, execute, and update related documents as necessary, including all AR 700 series logistics regulations per DoD, Army, and AMCOM guidance. This includes proper usage of applicable Operator's manuals, technical manuals, AR 710-2-1, DA Pam 710-2-1, DA Pam 738-751, DA Pam 750-8, TM 1-1500-328-23, TM 1-1500-341-01, AR 750-1, AR 750-6, and AR 750-10. 
e. Determine, establish, and execute retail and wholesale supply support and maintenance integration roles/needs assessments as well as other difficult and complex sustainment logistics development/integration assignments. 
f. Provide daily oversight of Gray Eagle, Shadow, Hunter, and Small UAS retail and wholesale supply support activities, maintenance operations and field support efforts, as well as development and enforcement of applicable maintenance related policies, procedures, and regulations. 
g. Manage synchronizing Unmanned Aircraft Systems -Initiative, (UAS-I) fielding support efforts, Legitimate Code Files updates, as well as development and enforcement of applicable retail and wholesale supply support related policies, procedures, and regulations. 
h. Train, Review, Interpret, and recommend changes required Army readiness reporting regulations such as AR 710-2 & DA-PAM 710-2-1 
i. Monitor and advise the Project Manager on all aspects of the retail and wholesale supply support UAS supply chain, to include maintenance turnaround and repair part transit times, work in process inventory management, inventory stockade levels, operational capacity management and quality assurance. 
j. Develop and maintain Smart Charts and information briefings as requested. 
k. Support development and integration of UAS PMO retail and wholesale supply Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) processes, procedures, and initiatives. 
l. Assist UAS Product Teams with monitoring and executing management oversight of contractor retail and wholesale Supply Chain Management (SCM), integration, utilization and work loading, and major item management processes, including performance metrics development, data collection processes implementation, documentation, monitoring, analysis, process management, and performance metric and compliance reporting. 
m. Support/participate in conferences, meetings, and assistance/inspection teams, as required. 
n. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
o. Support the coordination, and facilitate the operational aspects, of other current planning, project-team, and line management.
p. Communicate with executive, administrative, and line management personnel to gather or convey relevant information.

Required Qualifications

The Retail and Wholesale Supply Support Logistics Analyst supports the PM-UAS Product Support Manager and Fleet Sustainment Chief by serving as the resident staff expert, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) coordinator, for all UAS Fleet retail and wholesale supply support sustainment logistics planning, documentation development, staffing/coordination, execution, and implementation oversight/monitoring activities.

  • Active US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Eduction:
    • High School degree with 15 years of experience OR
    • Bachelor’s Degree with 11 years of experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 11 years of progressive working experience as a technical manager in at least one of the disciplines of Technical Program/Project Management, Cost Management, Life-cycle Management or Project Administration and Contract Management involving such efforts as Engineering Programs, Scientific Studies and Analysis, Logistics Programs, System Acquisitions or related programs consistent with current Industry and Government practices.
  • Be experienced in Life Cycle Management; preferably within Government or Military operations
  • The candidate should have extensive experience with readiness reporting and Army automated logistics information system programs. 
  • Prospective candidates must have thorough in-depth knowledge and expertise in Army aviation, Army ground, and Aviation ground support equipment maintenance procedures and standards. 
  • The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communications skills, be proficient in Microsoft office products, and be able to completely articulate complex issues succinctly.
  • Qualified individual will possess relevant experience in the inventory and supply management of products throughout the supply chain, and will be capable of analyzing, recommending approaches, and planning for the delivery of necessary training and program management support in compliance with current Commercial and Government best practices.
  • Experience in computer database management of equipment is required. 

 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 15+ years prior Army Aviation maintenance experience at the U.S. Army Warrant Officer, or Sergeant First Class and above level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or higher.

  • FAA licensed Airframe and Power Plant mechanic license.
