Description

Engility has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Security Specialist.  The ideal candidate will provide a full range of security administrative support to the government customer. The primary responsibilities for this security officer involve responding to current and future mission administrative security requirements. These requirements focus on security support, maintenance of appropriate job classifications, and internal/external customer interactions. The security officer will work directly with the government client to provide daily support and coordination for the staff and contract employees.

 

Other responsibilities include being the focal point for vault access; maintaining access lists for buildings; maintaining combinations for vaults and safes; monitoring and supporting program security requirements; supporting adjudication of security incidents; processing badge requests; submitting requests for security approvals and clearances; providing support for emergency contingency exercises and requirements; maintaining the facility's security system; training new employees and contractors to use the facility's security system; and supporting other duties as necessary while working with the government customer.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Must have five (5) or more years of experience providing security support in the intelligence community (previous experience as a company security officer is a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience or working knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite of applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with security requirements for the various contract types and associated relationships 
  • Required working knowledge of ICD 704 and ICD 705
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities an deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships, encourage teamwork, and promote cooperation to address concerns and issues
