• Provides systems engineering support to the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Mid-Band (Inc 1) Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team.
• Support the NGJ Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) process, including input to milestone briefs and SETR checklist completion.
• Review and assist in developing technical requirements. Provide technical review of CDRLs received from the NGJ OEM.
• Assist in writing and tracking NGJ risks and opportunities and mitigation steps.
• Review and provide inputs/recommendations on NGJ requirement documents (SEP, NATIP, TEMP, FRD, etc.) to ensure accuracy, and remain current on any changes.
• Provide technical review and updates to briefs, decision papers and other programmatic communication.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on NGJ aircraft integration issues to personnel working at other designated sites including NAWCWD-Pt. Mugu

Required Qualifications

• The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to meet this obligation.
• Electronic Warfare familiarity.
• NAVAIR Systems Engineer Technical Review (SETR) process expertise.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar technical discipline) with 15+ years of experience in an Engineering position is required. A Master's degree with 12+ years or a PhD and 9+ years of experience will also be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to participate in multiple weekly team meetings and telecoms to ensure continuous communication with the Engineering IPT, system developers, and contractors.
• Ability to travel when necessary (up to approx. 15%).
• Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Air Vehicle familiarity, particularly naval aviation platforms.
• NAVAIR Program Office experience.
• Prior aircrew/avionics SME.
• RF/Electronics/EW expertise.
