Description

  • Specific responsibilities include supporting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and information operations (IO) planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE) and acquisitions.
  • Provide programmatic support to contracting officers, contracting officer representatives (COR), finance, and other entities.
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze ISR and IO related technical data to identify emerging technologies, trends, research and development opportunities, and intelligence/capability gaps.
  • Develop enterprise architectures compliant with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) guidance utilizing industry best practices and software.
  • Support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) preparation and Program Decision Package (PDP) development.
  • Coordinate with Service, Joint, and National-level organizations as required.
  • Give briefings and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Must be able to travel and work after-duty hours, as duty responsibilities require.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires an applied knowledge of federal, DoD, IC acquisition guidance/regulations and USAF contracting processes.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or IO/cyber/space-intelligence and air and/or electronic warfare.
  • Ability to provide solutions to a variety of highly technical Air, Space, and Cyber problems of advanced scope and complexity.
  • Knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes, documentation and associated information/intelligence processes (e.g., Information Support Plan (ISP) development, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience developing DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and/or IC compliant architectures utilizing principles of Model Driven Engineering and associated government/industry standard software (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect or other similar tool) and languages (e.g., Object Oriented/Unified Modeling Language (OO/UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience developing and managing relational database management systems preferred.
  • Ability to interface daily with local customers, teammate contractors, and geographically separated organizations.
  • Candidates must be capable of articulating themselves clearly both orally and in writing to senior leadership.
  • Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge/experience using and applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in intelligence and military systems, satellite and networked communications, space/cyber/air systems, and systems engineering.
  • Technical Master’s degree preferred.
  • Candidates with 10 years of related technical experience and qualifications may be considered in lieu of degrees.
