Engility is seeking an Enterprise IT Procurement & Compliance Engineer for our Space Systems Sector. You will serve as the “front door” interface to IT technical customers submitting requests to add IT hardware, software and IT Miscellaneous items to the Enterprise baseline. You will perform customer requirement validation of each request submitted and have an understanding of the Customer’s network transition plan to the enterprise baseline as it relates to these requests.

  • Serve as the approved repository workflow manager in processing customer requests through the governance process to add commercial hardware and software products to the approved baseline.
  • Manage the approved repository workflow and ensure the proper working groups are assigned to appropriate workflow roles by proactively shepherding requests through the process to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure all documentation is concise and complete before assigning to a working group for approval.
  • Facilitate technical working group reviews, disposition of IT requests and the packaging/briefing of technical working group recommendations/decisions to the approval governance.
  • Assist customers when a waiver or a Software Security Risk Database request is required.
  • Ensure Customer needs are properly vetted and approved by all stakeholders in a timely manner and are properly documented in the approved repository workflow tool.
  • Work with the approved repository governance to resolve contentious issues within the process.
  • Additionally, as the approved repository workflow and artifact is embedded component within a larger, centralized IT Procurement Process, the candidate shall support the Customer to ensure requisite integration of approved repository processes with the larger procurement process and will represent the organizations equities in identifying, discussing, and implementing new requirements, process changes, etc. into the overall procurement process.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to successfully obtain a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology with 8 years industry experience, or 12 years industry experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in Systems Integration support within the Intelligence Community, preferably in Technical Management, and Enterprise Service Management tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of IC ITE services (hosting, networks, desktops, CM Domain, security)
  • Experience with Systems Engineering risk management principles and practices
  • 3-5 years’ experience with ISP / ASP / customer service delivery environments
  • Subject Matter Expertise in analysis of alternatives across adopt/buy/create decisions to assist in the identification of best value IT services
  • Proven ability to operate as a team player and coordinate with multiple internal and external groups
  • Self-starter, ability to lead and execute customer engagements without direct leadership participation. 
  • Basic working knowledge and understanding of the standard IT products in the approved baseline repository to work with customers understanding that a new IT request should only be processed if the current items in the approved repository do not satisfy their requirement.

  • FedRAMP, NIST and FISMA compliance, Federal procurement, security and Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes, VMWare, IT Service Management, and Content Delivery Networks.
