  • Preparing and managing Systems Engineering plans
  • Technical activities, include developing and reviewing requirements, performing trade studies, risk management, technical reviews, configuration management, and creating other engineering deliverables and documentation
  • Acquisition engineering Suport for Advanced Arresting Gear; reviewing all DoD acquisition contract documentation supporting a major system design, development, testing, and production

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals definition and management of requirements, design of hardware and software.
  • Secret or Interim Secret Clearance is required
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Computer or equivalent). 

Desired Qualifications

  • Some experience in systems engineering with DoD Acquisition Programs.  
  • Aviation shipboard operations - experience operating environment aboard relevant platforms such as CVN class ships
  • Technical domain experience: Electro-mechanical controls & Electromagnetics.
