This position is the lead warehouse inventory control person responsible to the Government customer for daily operations and oversight of all warehouse inventory control functions.  The warehouse operations lead is responsible for the following:

  • Account for and tracking the customer’s property 
  • Reconcile the inventory and resolving conflicts with the Government Property Management Officer or the Government Accountable Property Management Officer.
  • Perform an annual inventory of all accountable and capitalized customer identified property inside or deployed outside of the customer Headquarters Complex in accordance with property management regulations
  • Perform an annual accounting for specifically controlled and tracked designated property such as laptop computers and hard drives
  • Transfer on a temporary or permanent basis Government property using the appropriate Department of Defense documentation, the customer’s automated tracking system (CIS) and other forms required by the customer.  File and maintain the transfer paperwork IAW, and TSG File plan.
  • Initiate retrieval procedures for all property that is not returned to the warehouse by the due date
  • Dispose of Government property IAW Government guidance and established Property Turn-IN (PTI) procedures. Maintain records for all property subject to PTI


Required Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed formal certification training in Warehouse/Asset Management
  • Five or more years of experience in warehouse/asset management
  • Three years of intelligence community (IC) experience
  • One year experience dealing with asset management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree 8 years of experience working in logistics or related areas
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with active (or ability to pass) CI Poly
