Engility is looking for a SharePoint Content Manager to join an exciting program to support solution development for challenging problems. The successful candidate will be a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization spread across diverse technical areas. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background with demonstrated technical aptitude in order to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate them in a way that can be understood by non-technical people. The SharePoint Content Manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of SharePoint elements including sites, lists, libraries, calendars, web parts, and others. He/she will also manage user permissions as needed. The Content Manager will support the migration of large amounts of content from a legacy file management system to SharePoint, to include metadata tagging. He/she will assist in the creation of workflows to automate the customer’s business processes. As needed, the Content Manager will assist in user testing for newly developed capabilities. Someone with a passion for working in a customer support role, has attention to detail, able to multi-task, and can work with multiple project leads to understand and communicate program information will thrive in this environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of experience in software development or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and 2013
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint sites, web parts, lists, libraries, and calendars, and managing user permissions
  • Experience with migrating content to SharePoint and metadata tagging
  • Experience creating SharePoint workflows
  • Knowledge of third-party SharePoint tools, including Nintex Workflow and Metalogix Content Matrix, desired
  • Experience in Agile methodologies highly desired
