The candidate will support the Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Integrated Product Team (TACAIR EW IPT) as an Electronic Warfare (EW) Sensor Engineer. The candidate will analyze electronic intelligence (ELINT) data to reprogram various EW Sensors. The candidate will be formulating approaches to solve technical issues with the EW systems and troubleshoot system behavior through examining recorded data.
The candidate will support the development of threat libraries for EW systems. They will perform threats analysis and mission requirements to design, program, and unit level test of the threat libraries. The candidate will generate the required documentation and conduct reviews as required by the TACAIR EW processes. The candidate will also perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level test and integration test for highly complex systems.
The candidate will be required to work simultaneously in several EW areas such as radar warning, missile warning and electronic countermeasure systems. This position will require technical creativity, innovation, and development of concepts from EW gap analysis to white paper proposal to implementation of ideas to address the EW gaps.
