We are seeking a Mid-Level GEOINT Analyst with an active TS/SCI  security clearance to join our Team in Springfield, VA office to support one of our flagship Programs within the Intelligence Community.

  • Provide support to the NSG Functional Manager, the leadership of the GEOINT Enterprise Office – Frontiers and the NSG through Future GEOINT Need Analysis. 
  • Update and validated future GEOINT user needs and incorporates them into the Community Information Needs Forecast (CINF), providing a basis for NSG capability assessments and capability planning documents 
  • Apply and engage the NGA/G Office use of the Future Capabilities Process (FCP) to manage specific NSG organizations, shortfalls, gaps, duplication, and even value added instantiations of organizational specific needs and capabilities into the greater NSG
  • Coordinate and interact with NGA KC’s and NSG mission partners to address shortfall areas to ensure effective program integration and support Intelligence Community future user needs activities. 
  • Assist in development of needs and requirements documentation and Concepts of Operation; contribute to program planning budgeting and execution documents and activities. 
  • Support user needs in support of CINF database, process, and systems.
  • Explore ways to exploit current and emerging technologies to improve user needs processes.
  • Take steps to coordinate and integrate program information into activities, processes, and; communicate program performance information to varied audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance and the willingness to take and pass a CI Polygraph
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree.  Equivalent military training may be considered.
  • Requires 9 years of work experience, 5 of which must be as a GEOINT, Imagery or All Source Analyst.
  • Strong familiarity with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the NSG, and GEOINT Enterprise Architecture to include user needs, requirements, and capabilities. 
  • Ability to successfully and productively interface with other branches/divisions within NGA OGM, and Demonstrated understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its user needs and requirements processes 
  • Familiarity with Mission Partner collectors and architecture, and future architecture plans
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines 
  • Able to support planning, programming and budgeting, and acquisition decisions
  • Customer-service and goal oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of GEOINT experience 
  • 15 years of familiarity with the Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense 
  • Science or Engineering Undergraduate degree 
  • Graduate degree 
  • Understanding of ICD 503 Overlay C standards and compliance
