Engility is seeking a Scheduling Support Specialist to join an exciting program focused on solution development for challenging problems. The successful candidate will be a proactive, forward-leaning self-starter able to work in a fast-paced organization spread across diverse technical areas. Duties of this position include: developing and maintaining all aspects of the Integrated Program Schedules (IPS) by integrating baseline and status data from program related activities with major program, system, and segment level milestone and overall program commitments. Analyzing all actual and potential schedule changes to the IPS and providing an assessment of the impact is a critical function of the position. Someone with a passion for working in a customer support role, has attention to detail, able to multi-task, and can work with multiple project leads to understand and communicate program information will thrive in this environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, systems engineering, accounting, finance or related field.  4 additional years of experience working in a similar position may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Requires 5 years of experience supporting project or program management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite needed to perform day-to-day functions.
  • Expertise with MS Project and Visio.
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads and effectively prioritize multiple competing demands on the individual’s time.
  • Ability to produce high quality product within required deadlines.
  • Proven experience in producing program documentation with demonstrated application of project management principles.
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently and in the team environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate processes and procedures.
  • Effective organizational, writing and oral communication skills.
