Junior Program Analyst to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System (NAS) Lifecycle Planning (NLP) Division. Position requires the successful candidate to assist in the development of products, status reporting, and various briefings and reports on Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) Research, Engineering, and Development, project planning, and project implementation. Duties include the coordination and development of products for the NextGen Portfolio managers and perform technical and quality assurance reviews of products to ensure alignment; assisting with status reporting and preparation of various briefings on NextGen efforts; conducting research, evaluations, analyses, and studies and present recommendations/ solutions to meet short and long-term project/ program planning requirements.
2-6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree (5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.) Working knowledge of the FAA NextGen organization, particularly the NAS Lifecycle Planning and Management Services organizations, and the Air Traffic Organization Program Management Office. Strong verbal communications. Strong interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
Familiarity with FAA capital budget formulation a plus
