The Logistical Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and reporting shipping/delivery of equipment with vendors and customers. Knowledgeable on the tracking, transport, and distribution of equipment. Monitor records of all stock counts and compiles evaluation reports. Produce daily, weekly, or monthly reports on the accountability of mission and fielded equipment. Manage the equipment cycle counting; accounting and reporting of equipment surplus, product returns, and damages; cost analysis of company products (evaluate purchase and assess invoice details). Conduct site surveys of equipment delivery locations, asset management and inventory controls when fielding equipment to gaining Commands. Possess the ability to multi-task and work independently; results oriented individual with high standards for personal performance. Organizational skills, detail oriented and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments and locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Accustomed to supporting Cyber Security initiatives and understands the overarching mission of Cyber Security.
  • Recognizes the equipment, hardware, and language within the Cyber Security infrastructure.
  • Possess an understanding of the LIW, PBUSE, AESIP, IUID Registry and other LOGSA automated tools tomanage government property.
  • Must have the knowledge to manage assets, inventories, develop property accountability.
  • Knowledge on issuing equipment utilizing hand receipts (DA Form 3161) and Delegation of Authority (DA Form1687) for signature card.
  • Knowledge of barcode system to conduct inventories.
  • Computer skills and knowledge with inventory software and programs.
  • Strong calculative, analytical, and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Experience using Army Property Book Unit Supply and/ or Property Book (PBUSE).
  • Experience in Army Logistics processes.
