Description

Are you a senior-level, hands-on engineer who is interested in working in a job that is never the same twice?  How about one that uses everything you have ever learned?  Engility is looking for motivated technical individuals who want to make a real difference by supporting those who defend the country.

The core of the Sr. Test Engineer involves testing and assessing hardware, software, or entire systems from an operational viewpoint with an emphasis on non RF communication systems.  You will also be assigned other technical duties depending on your skills, experience, and interests.  Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute testing, perform analysis, document results in formal assessment reports, and discuss and defend the reports in a peer review board.
  • Advise design teams of the issues discovered, work with them to develop work-arounds or recommend changes to eliminate the issues entirely.
  • Depending on the project, you will work alone or as part of a team.
  • Be prepared to learn and analyze new systems, then plan and execute various tests on them, document test results, then write formal test reports.  You will then discuss and defend the test reports in a peer review board.
