  • The Senior Engineer will analyze and/or develop and document engineering requirements and capabilities across the acquisition life-cycle to identify critical components, critical information and critical function in systems architecture, design, testing for relevance to technical capability and mission success.
  • He or she will develop Anti-Tamper Plans (ATP) and generate documentation and briefs in support of accrediting agencies assessment of said plans. 
  • The Senior Engineer researches and develops security and protection plans to test, validate and certify the handling of critical program information (CPI) and critical components through the system life-cycle.
  • The Senior Engineer advises Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads on technical matters involving Anti-Tamper engineering. He or she serves as consultant and adviser to various segments of government, industry, and the Department of Defense in AT technical issues.
  • This person provides Engineering services for the identification and protection of CPI and the development and integration of Anti-Tamper (AT) into mission, sensor and weapon systems.
  • Tasks include developing and reviewing program technical and mission documentation, providing authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues, and ensuring AT requirements are met.
  • The Senior Engineer develops and reviews configuration documentation.  He or she participates in program and technical reviews. The Senior Engineer audits and analyzes procurement specifications and data packages and reviews T&E suitability/ supportability documentation
  • This role reviews and provides technical recommendations on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and/or spiral upgrades and participates in technical working groups to resolve any AT related engineering issues.
  • The Senior Engineer prepares and reviews engineering support plans to include cost analysis.  He or she provides AT engineering inputs on program platform software requirements and development, to assure AT requirements are incorporated.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, operational research, physics, or a related discipline
  • Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of engineering experience, including applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, or evaluate military sensor, weapon and/or mission system.
  • Security Protection planning for critical hardware/software technology
  • Analysis of alternative protection strategies for critical engineering components
  • Must have current active Secret clearance, and be clear-able to Top Secret. Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Qualifications

  • In depth knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices including hardware, software, information systems, Program Protection and AT solutions is desired, with a focus in system security engineering.
