Description

Engility is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical assistance in requirements management for national technical systems:

  • Provide expertise in mission operations, space, ground segments requirements management
  • Develop requirements, traces, and provide products to support requirements and design reviews, and Request For Change (RFC)
  • Manage requirements database content including traces between architecture elements, CONOPS, and system and function requirements
  • Triage RFCs for existing requirement baselines and assess their impacts
  • Perform validation of requirements incorporated into master baseline

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Science, Engineering, or Math with a minimum of 5-10  years of relevant experience in engineering or space operations
  • A minimum of 1-5  years of relevant experience in using requirements management tools (preferably DOORS)
  • Current TS/SCI with ability to successfully complete a CI polygraph
  • Strong technical fundamentals in Intelligence Community (IC) space collectors, space operations, command and control, mission control, and mission processing
  • Knowledge of space or ground requirements development and management practices for systems acquisition programs in the GEOINT, SIGINT or Communications domains
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise Architecture, System and Function requirements and associated traces
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasking in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Superior interpersonal oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels
  • Experience with requirements database tools (preferably DOORS)  to develop requirements, traces, and provide  products to support design reviews or Request For Change (RFC)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS NexGen requirements tool
  • Experience with other IBM Rational Tool Suite applications (to include Rhapsody, Concert, and Jazz)
  • Working knowledge of Request for Change (RFC) process and Engineering Review Board process
