Description

Engility is searching for an engineer to support a critical program supporting an Intelligence Community customer.  This position is vital to the success of the program and provides tremendous opportunity for technical leadership as a contractor..  The successful candidate will apply their engineering expertise in developing, testing and integrating ground processing systems to support customer activities.  Knowledge of payload data formats and how to ingest and process in order to generate needed information is essential.

  • Support development, testing, and integration of signals equipment.
  • Perform requirements analysis and design processing algorithms.
  • Develop probability measurements and work with modeling and simulation engineers.
  • Strong emphasis on algorithm development, performance simulation, and analysis using simulated and real data in both time series and spectral domains.
  • Apply systems engineering expertise in the areas of requirements analysis and verification for the customer’s activities. This will include tracking changes in requirements, working with the configuration manager on changes to SE documents, etc. 
  • Perform requirements analysis and verification activities; track requirements changes; and maintain configuration control of system engineering documentation.
  • Support program reviews and technical exchange meetings; provide technical assessments; facilitate technical discussions across organizations; clarify program requirements, interfaces, and implementations.
  • Provide engineering assessments to define system requirements and capabilities, designs, system verification, and transition to operations; and support verification, validation, and readiness activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to quickly learn and use signal processing libraries as well as work independently and with a team to develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects is required.
