Engility is seeking a skilled Sr. Logistician to support a critical program for our Intelligence Community customer. This position is vital to the success of the program and our national security and provides a tremendous opportunity for technical leadership as a contractor.  The successful candidate will apply their logistics expertise with logistics and developments of large systems and IT and Hardware and Software systems in the hands-on participation in the management of system deployments and upgrades, including:

  • Developing logistics documentation and reports
  • Complete various government property forms
  • Performing inventory activities
  • Acting as the primary POC and facilitator for end-to-end shipment processes
  • Physically preparing systems for transport in compliance with appropriate policies and safeguards
  • Program includes IT support, systems integration and life cycle support, enterprise application development, network engineering, information systems security (ISS), and 24X7X365 multi-tiered support to mission-focused offices.

Additional duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property
  • Establishe program level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property
  • Coordinate all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities
  • Coordinate and performs all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices
  • Provide monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines
  • Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Requires a HS Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Proven expertise with procurement tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Aviation experience preferred
