Join TASC, an Engility Company, and be apart of a team that is impacting National security.  We are currently looking for a Emergency Preparedness Specialist.  Position duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide operational and staff support to the emergency management (EM) and force protection (FP) program (inclusive of antiterrorism (AT), chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosive (CBRNE), and emergency/disaster preparedness requirements for support in a DoD environment.
  • Prepare plans, procedures, risk and vulnerability assessments, reviews and assessments of facility protection profile requirements and capabilities.
  • Prepare for and execute exercises.
  • Gather and analyze law enforcement related information.
  • Collaborate with internal and external counterparts and agencies.
  • Represent the emergency management functions in various meetings, engagements, and activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have an active/current TS/SCI
  • Requires 7 or more years of experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within a related field
  • Completion and currency of FEMA/DHS approved Incident Command System (ICS) training (e.g., ICS-1 00/4200).
  • Completion and currency of a military or civilian advanced emergency management course.
  • Knowledge of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
  • Completion and currency of a DoD Vulnerability Assessment course (to be identified and provided by the government through the Defense Treat Reduction Agency (DTRA), as billets become available).
