Description

We are looking for a candidate to join the Engility Defense Group. The qualified employee will:

  • Assist the Program Manager (PM) in successfully executing the MCTP Mission Support Contract (MSC) with special emphasis in transformation, technical performance, and administration.
  • Organize, guide, and monitor key contract staff transformation activities.
  • Establish technical performance standards and lead the staff self-assessment effort.
  • Provide direction and critical support to the Program Management Office
  • Oversee material and administrative support to the contract staff including transportation, equipment, supplies, facilities, and budget.
  • Supervise the contract staff on-line training and administrative portal.
  • Primary duty is Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; 10% travel requirement CONUS/OCONUS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in general support of the MCTP mission support contract.

This is a contingent position based on contract award and receipt of funding from the customer.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Military Education Level 4 (Intermediate Level Education) graduate.
  • Former field grade officer.
  • Successfully served in a key developmental position at brigade/battalion level.
  • Served in a primary or deputy division/corps level staff position with recent mission command experience.
  • Able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations unassisted
  • SECRET clearance; TOP SECRET eligible

Desired Qualifications

  • Former battalion commander
  • School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMs) graduate or equivalent.
  • MCTP COG experience and/or Army service school instructor
  • Experience in OIF or OEF within the past five years
  • Joint Staff officer qualified
  • Experience at the Joint, Unified Command, or Joint Task Force level or higher
